5. Electrical wiring
Step 1: Electric diagrams
IMPORTANT: the changes are just on the order of the pumps on the front panel and not on the wiring. The pumps must be installed in the right order to keep the length of the pipes in order to avoid pressure losses.
- If your segregostat is on the right of your fermentor:
- If your segregostat is on the left of your fermentor:
Step 2: Electrical step for the Rear panel
-
Connect the fan to the wago + and - ( red-> (+) / blue -> (-) )
-
Connect the two power pins of the motherboard with a black wire and a red wire from the wago (+) and (-).
-
Connect the relays to de wago with a red cable for the (+) and black cable for the (-), You can make a bridge between the positive terminal of the relay that is powered and the second one. You can also make a bridge between the negative terminals.
-
You can use rislan clamps to hold the cabling in the cable management pipe for the fan and the relays.
-
Connect the two cables of the 2 D-sub 15 connectors, one cable on the COM port and the other on the NC port, repeat the same process for the second connector. Normally this step is already done.
-
Connect positive pin of the DC socket to the switch and from the switch to the wago (+) (all this process with a RED cable). Connect minus pin of the DC directely to the wago (-).
-
Connect the cable from the rs 232 connector to the motherboard following the plan.

- Connect the INT pins of the relays to the motheboard following the plan (W12 & W14).
Step 3: Electrical step for the Front panel
-
Connect COM A / COM B / COM C / COM D to the Wago (+), you must creat bridges with RED cables between COM A/B/C/D and connect only the COM A with a RED cable to the Wago.
-
Now connect all pumps from the motherboard's relays, and connect all minus on the front panel Wago following the plan. Please Use the plan number 1 if your segregregostat is on the RIGHT of the fermentor, or the number 2 if it's on the LEFT. The only changes are in the order of the pumps, which makes it easier to place the pipes for the sampling.
-
Put a black wire into the Wago (-) which is on the back panel to the Wago (-) on the front panel.
